A LITTLE BACKGROUND...

I have deep roots in South Berwick, having lived here for 37 years, raised a family, built a home, and served in our local government as the town planner.

I recently retired as director of the Southern Maine Planning and Development Commission. Over a career that spanned 25 years I worked with 39 towns throughout southern Maine. We developed the preeminent environmental clean up program in New England with federal, state and local partners resulting in downtown redevelopment, housing development and small business growth. We established and implemented economic development loan and grant programs, and created the first regional Resiliency and Sustainability Program in New England. Our success in all of these areas was based on the cooperative efforts of numerous partners.
